MCHS Rossii Mil MI-26 RA-06291 is definitely the russian highlight of the summer. The helicopter is based in Lausanne Blécherette (65 km from Geneva) since July 3rd. It carried the new Alinghi boat from Villeneuve to Le Bouveret (Lake Geneva) on July 8th and will then carry it again from Le Bouveret to Genoa (Italy) by the end of August. In the meantime it will remain based at Lausanne airfield (where the picture was taken on July 5th) possibly to operate some charter flights on behalf of Heliswiss. The helicopter is not scheduled to visit Geneva. |
