Air France (AF) Is cutting two daily Geneva-Paris rotations this winter (AF1742/3 in the morning + AF2542/3 in the evening) due to the current difficult economical environment.
British Airways (Cityflyer) (CJ) Will introduce its recently delivered Embraer 170 on its weekly London City-Geneva services this winter. Flights will take place every Sunday (1515-1555 / CJ8743/4) (2000-2040 / CJ8745/6) starting December 20th.
Cimber Sterling (QI) Will launch a weekly Copenhagen-Geneva service with Boeing 737-700 equipment every Saturday afternoon (1505-1545 / QI5773/4) this winter. Flights will operate between December 26th and March 3rd.
Darwin Airline (0D) Has taken delivery of a fifth Saab 2000 (HB-IYD) currently still wearing Polet Flight colorscheme but devoid of titles as of September 30th. Separately, Darwin Airline is now offering its fleet as flying billboards, the following illustrations originating from their website showing the offered layout and an example of the final look to their customers.
DHL (European Air Transport) (BCS) Every good thing coming to an end, DHL will reallocate the Geneva-Leipzig sector to its own Boeing 757-200F as of October 24th, the mighty Atlantic Airlines Lockheed Electra operating its last service on the route on Friday October 23rd.
Etihad Airways (EY) Will upgrade three of its five weekly Geneva-Abu Dhabi flights to Airbus A330-300 equipment as of February 2nd. Flight EY053/4 (0635-1020) every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday is concerned while the two other flights (EY051/2 1320-2050) on Wednesday and Friday remain operated with Airbus A330-200.
Jade Cargo International (JI) Has requested slots during the full winter season for its fortnightly Brescia-Barcelona-Geneva-Shanghai route.
KLM (KL) Has scheduled no flights with Fokker aircraft this winter, upgrading KLM Cityhopper rotations to Embraer 190 equipment. KLM will also operate an increased part of flights with Boeing 737-800.
Swiss (LX) Will upgrade its daily Geneva-New York service to Airbus A330-300 equipment as of January 30th. Schedules remain the same (0935-1200 / LX023/22).
Transavia Denmark (PH) Transavia Denmark, the danish arm of dutch carrier Transavia will enter the ski charter market this coming winter, operating a weekly Billund-Geneva service every Saturday evening (1900-1945 / PH2701/2) with Boeing 737-800 equipment. Service starts on December 19th.
