Aircraft in storage on Tarmac P48 / Corrosion Corner
The following aircraft are currently in storage on the new Tarmac P48. It islocated 200 meters right of "Point 2" on our Main Photo Points section, and all aircraft stored can be easily photographed from the perimeter road outside of the Airport.
Air Europa (AEA)
Launched on April 27th a new twice daily Madrid-Geneva service with Embraer 195 equipment. Schedules are 0850-0930 (AEA1649/2) and 1955-2040 (AEA1643/4) (evening flight not operating on Saturdays).
Air Mauritius(MK)
Announced on May 13th that it would axe its weekly Mauritius-Geneva flight by late August. Other international routes (including Frankfurt, Munich and Milan) will also be dropped as part of a new strategy aiming at reducing losses.
CSA Czech Airlines(OK)
Relaunched service to Geneva on April 23rd, operating 9 weekly Prag-Geneva flights with a mix of ATR-42 and Boeing 737-500. Schedules are as follow: Monday 0830-0920 (735) plus a nightstop arriving at 2140 (AT4) - Tuesday 1840-1925 (735) plus a nightstop leaving at 0835 (AT4) - Wednesday 0830-0920 (735) plus a nightstop arriving at 2140 (AT4) - Thusday 1835-1925 (735) plus a nightstop leaving at 0835 (AT4) - Friday 0830-0920 (735) plus a nightstop arriving at 2140 (AT4) - Saturday nightstop leaving at 0835 (AT4) - Sunday 1840-1925 (735). One CSA ATR-42 wears a special Skyteam colorscheme. Additionally two Boeing 737-500 wear special CSA retro colorschemes of two different periods.
Intersky (ISK)
Will operate a weekly charter flight from Geneva to Elba Island between July 1st and August 26th with Bombardier Dash 8-300 equipment. Schedules will be 1300-1330 (ISK277/8) every Sunday afternoon.
